General Objectives

The Basic Education Department provides quality education for Senior High School students through professional and cultural training in developing competitive skills in the specified academic
tracks: Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) and Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM). The Department aims to provide sufficient time for mastery of concepts and skills, develop lifelong learners, and prepare graduates for tertiary education from the preferred courses, middle-level skills development, local employment, and entrepreneurship. It further provides opportunities and trainings for students who seek professions in community development, development communication and first-hand experience of work through quality instruction, research, community extension and production.

Specific Objectives

The Basic Education Department of Senior High School supports the goals and objectives of the Department of Education as a non-DepEd school to proliferate and target High School graduates who:

  • Possess competencies and skills relevant to the job market, with courage and drive to engage in productive work, meeting the fast changing demands of society
  • Are prepared for higher education through enhanced curriculum that provides relevant content attuned with the changing needs of time and ensured with sufficient mastery of core subjects, especially those who opt to pursue higher education
  • Demonstrate a sound decision on the best courses of action to take in varying circumstances in life
  • uphold the core values of the Department of Education and the Community College, with respect for human rights and values, notably, maka-Diyos, maka-Tao, maka-Bansa, and maka-Kalikasan
  • Are able to earn higher wages and/or better prepared to start his own business
  • Are recognized Filipino graduates overseas as professionals
